Comment: I have purchased many knives and knife sets only to be terribly disappointed in their quality and ability to remain sharp. Before making this purchase, I did my research on several different websites- this brand of knife was rated very highly. The price is quite reasonable and the quality is that of a much more expensive knife. I definitely would recommend this product. You can pay more for others knives or names but why? This knife performs.

Comment: This is my favorite knife. I use it for most of my everyday kitchen tasks, from slicing onions to trimming fat off of a brisket. It has proved to be very versatile and is always the first knife I reach for. I also own a Forschner chef's knife and a couple of paring knives, which I have also been quite happy with.

Comment: This is the only bread knife I've used that can slice fresh bread-machine loaves cleanly, without smashing the loaf. I can make a hard-crusted artisan type bread and the knife slices easily through that also. This knife is so good that I'm going to have to try some more Forschner products. Btw, I really like the Fibrox handle. I'll never buy another type.

Comment: Forschner knives are SO good for the money, and this one is my favorite. If you ever slice French bread, artisan bread, anything that needs a sharp serrated blade with the ability to make perfect slices, this is it. You will never squash a loaf of bread again.
