Summary: Treo headset to 3.5mm headphone jack
Comment: It took me so long to find this adapter, and I'm so happy with it! I wanted to get the "Shure i2cT Sound Isolating Earphones with Connector for the Treo" so that I could have only one high-end headset that would work with both my phone and my computer/iPod with both stereo audio out and mono audio in (microphone). This gave me the perfect fit. The Shure i2cT's had an end that fits perfectly with the Treo's 2.5mm headset jack, a female 4-conductor (two for stereo audio out, one for mono audio in, one for ground). This adapter takes in that male i2cT's end with a 2.5mm three-conductor female (two for stereo audio in, one for ground, dropping the microphone signal, which thankfully does not interfere) and converts it to male 3.5mm 3-conductor male, which fits into iPods' and most computers' headphone jacks.
If this is exactly the conversion you're looking for, you'll love it. Just be careful and make sure it's really what you want.
Note: When I say "Treo," I mean the Treo 600 and 700 series of phones.

Summary: I don't even know why they make these 2 ring adaptors.
Comment: With the 2 ring design of this adaptor you will only get sound through one earphone when connected to a cell phone. There is one that looks just like this, but it has 3 rings on the male end and it will work with stereo earphones, if you get a good one. Mine all made crackling sounds when moved until the third one. Quality control is a problem with many of these adaptors. The reviewer who gives this a high rating is probably reviewing the 3 ring design. Maybe there is a use for the 2 ring design, but it is not for cellphones.

Summary: Great product!
Comment: I purchased my adapter from Eforcity and received it a day before the start date of the delivery estimate. This headset adapter allows me to plug in my headset with my cell phone in order to listen to my favious music.
