Summary: Does not slip or slide
Comment: Ive had this stand for over a year now, I use it at work everyday with my MacBook Pro. I've read several reviews about laptops sliding off and that is BS. Mine is working perfectly and my laptop has never slipped off, even if i leave it up there all day.
Dont listen to those reviews, if you have a 15 or 17 inch MBP you'll be JUST FINE.
PS. Perfect height to complement a iMac, about 5.5" off your desk at the highest point.
- Happy Customer :)

Summary: Great until it slips off
Comment: I left it alone twice today for less than a minute and I found my macbook on my computer chair (luckily not the floor). I've had this for quite a while and never had this problem. Perhaps like another reviewer said, the macbook has burnt off some of the rubber. Sad, because it's at a nice elevated height, but not at the expense of my macbook!

Summary: Ergonomic simple design
Comment: I own two of these. It keeps me sitting up straight and lessens my fatigue.
Amazon has the best price and it comes nicely packed.
The laptop fan doesn't go on as often. Remains cooler.
This is a great product. I also own a Belkin which is built more solid from foam material and not as high. The Griffin is definitely my favorite although higher in price.
It travels well too, comes apart easily for stowing.

Summary: Keeps my laptop elevated and cool
Comment: I couldn't be more pleased with this item. It raises my Macbook Pro up so that my screen is eye level, and also keeps my battery cool. Add in its very attractive design and you have a winner.

Summary: I like it a lot
Comment: I like it because I get a little desk space back, my neck likes it because I'm not looking down, and my computer likes it because it doesn't get hot as easily. I have read concerns of the laptop slipping down off the rubber pads, and indeed there's not a terrible lot of resistance, but mine does not move, and I don't think it ever will. One might wonder whether the people making the other complaints handled the rubber pads (or the computer) with greasy hands before setting the computer down.
If your table isn't steady, it does have a tendency to wobble forward and backward a little bit, and same if you try to type on it. But it's not too bad, especially if you're just gesturing or tapping on the trackpad. I routinely reach up and do multitouch gestures on my MacBook Pro's trackpad - double-finger scrolling especially - quite comfortably.
Now, if you were thinking it might actually come to life at midnight and make you an espresso, you will be disappointed. Also, do not let the product shots fool you: it does not come with a computer.
