Summary: Fine product. Price Oopps
Comment: The watch is fine. I've used this or similar models for 20? years. The only gotcha, The price dropped $2 the next week.
I've got 4 sons. This watch or it's similar model was given to each when they reached 14.

Summary: Great watch, my 4th
Comment: I love these watches, I hope they keep making them. This is my 4th. The first 3 lasted 6-7 years each. The electronics never failed, but the rubber will fall apart eventually.

Summary: Greatest working man, sport and retro watch ever!
Comment: This watch has seen me through some of the roughest applications I can think of. from 150 mile bike races, to all day dish washing at resteraunts, to swimming on the beaches of Cozumel! I have other watches that I wear for style, but this watch is what I wear when I want a watch that does the best job. It's time is dead on accurate!! It is digital duh!?!?! Anybody that loves the 80's, Marty Mcfly, Huey Lewis and the news, as well as working like HE double hockey sticks should buy this watch and not think twice about it!!

Summary: Similar to the old classic
Comment: My first exposure to a G-shock was in the engine room of a USN destroyer, on the wrist of a gas turbine technician while we were standing the midwatch. "That watch looks tough," I said. "I don't know...let's find out," he replied, then took it off, picked up a rubber mallet and started pounding it like a madman. It bounced around on the deck plates but never cracked or broke. I was sold.
This watch looks identical to that watch but is deficient in a few ways. The second time zone feature is gone, and perhaps as a result the functions of the buttons are rearranged in a way that feels screwy. New purchasers of the watch will probably like it just fine. Users who bought the old version for $25 twenty years ago from the commissary will have the unpleasant feeling of talking to a best friend who's been lobotomized.
It's still a solid product--excellent for all manner of outdoor activities (though too thick to fit inside a standard dress shirt sleeve cuff)--but I'm frustrated with Casio's poor headwork in redesigning it backwards.

Summary: Old style Casio
Comment: I have owned a couple of watches like this over the years and forgot how light weight and practical they are. The first watch [in the past] I ever owned that didn't get a rainstorm when worn by a working man. Don't let anyone tell you you can't put a flex band on because it can be done. Highly recommended.
