Summary: Just an SPF
Comment: I've been using this product everyday for the past month but haven't noticed any visible change in the sun spots that I have. No adverse side effects but product did not live up to my expectations.

Comment: I have normal skin that is uneven in hue. I bought this product because Hope in a jar does not come with SPF, and also because I had those uneven patches because of sun exposure. Now most philosophy products are a pleasure to use. Not this one.
The lotion itself feels slick and oily. It smells odd, which I can excuse, but when I applied it on my skin, it looked as if I had dunked my face in olive oil. I waited for the shine to settle, and it didn't until I applied "The Present" which I was hoping *not* to use. (The lesser products on my face the better). I used it for 2 months, and it has not made a difference. My skin remained uneven- though it didn't worsen.
The SPF is great, and I did not break out despite the oiliness, but the application is so unpleasant, I do not wish to try it for more than 2 months. If your skin type is dry, or if you are willing to use additional products to mitigate the shine, this may be for you.

Comment: I have malesma on my face. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's splotchy discoloration produced from hormonal imbalance. (I got it from using birth control, but many women get it during pregnancy.) It's difficult, if not impossible, to get rid of. Any sun exposure makes it more pronounced. PIGMENT is a fabulous moisturizer with SPF. I use it right after I shower or wash my face so my pores are still open and my skin just drinks it up. I am pretty sure I've noticed that it's lightened my discoloration and it definitely works as far as SPF goes!
BUT the best part is that it has some sort of luminous quality that just makes my skin light up. It glows. The lotion is a yellow-tint and when I use it, it almost looks reflective. It's the only time I feel comfortable not wearing foundation and it really does help my makeup go on more evenly.
I am a big fan of this product. I'm glad I found it and I won't be looking for anything better!! GO GET SOME!!!
