Summary: Could have been easier to assemble
Comment: Assembly seems straightforward but is complicated by two facts: the assembly manual is one of those books that shows pictures of parts for visual identity but the pictures are too small to actually identify the parts, so there is a bit of guess work trying to figure out which part is used in the first couple of steps in the assembly. Second, the bolts provided for attaching the handle to the reel require superhuman strength to drive into the nuts provided. I substitued similar bolts that could be driven into the nut with a socket.
The end result seems to be a heavy-duty hose reel but it is winter and I haven't yet attached it to the house so, for now, I can only comment on the assembly.

Comment: We purchased this reel for our son who gave us the number and where to buy it. Since we purchased it for him for Christmas, and it's winter here, we can't address anything about the quality other than to say it looks like a good product and it shipped very quickly. Comment: We have purchased several plastic hose reels that don't last and don't work very well. The rapid reel is metal and comes with a secure anchoring system and clear instructions for installing it. My husband was very impressed. We can pull our 100' hose all the way out and then roll it up easily. It was expensive, but well worth the money.
