Summary: Ideal Size for Storing in Drawers and Washing in Dishwasher
Comment: I bought theses cutting boards because was looking for something that would fit the narrow kitchen drawers I have. I was also very happy to see that it fit nicely in the dishwasher's disk rack without interfering with the rotating sprayer. I've had them over a year, and they are still in excellent shape.

Summary: I'm Slicing Like Crazy...
Comment: After reading some of the other reviews regarding "cuts" in a cutting board on here I almost didn't buy this. I am so glad I did! This is a perfect size for someone who does a lot of home made prep with vegetables, etc. If you use a good sharp chef's knife (NOT serrated edge!) you will *never* notice the small cuts in this board. I've used this about 1 month now and I use a great anti-bacterial product to keep it clean as a whistle.
*All* plastic and wood cutting boards will eventually have cuts in them. This is normal. The key is to *never* use a serrated edge blade on them. Serrated edge blades (in my opinion) are for amateurs. (Sorry folks... no Ginsu knives for me!). Anyway, this is a great product. I will buy another one as soon as I need it.

Summary: You get what you pay for
Comment: While it's not the greatest cutting board in the world, the Oxo Good Grips does what it's supposed to do and it does it pretty well. The silicone feet hold the board in place well enough, even when the counter is wet, and they make the board easier to lift off the counter to put away.
My only complaint is that the plastic seems a little softer than some other higher quality cutting boards. After a few months of use my board already has a few thin strips of plastic coming out from where I've cut on it repeatedly. Just be aware that these bits of plastic aren't getting mixed in with your food.

Summary: So Close ...
Comment: PROS:
The board is just the right size for everyday use and looks great.
To sanitize, I use half a lemon or lime,
dip into some salt and scrub the surface.
Rinse with hot water and pat dry.
CONS:
Here's the bad news.
You cannot see in the stock photo but the board
has four very small pegs on each corner.
These "grips" create a thin space between the board and the counter.
Although the board does not slip, it causes the board to
"bounce back" after each chop because it is not flush with the counter.
I noticed it threw off my chopping "rhythm".
Also, because of this gap - each chop is pretty loud.
* I have uploaded a macro shot of one of the corners.
I don't like to bother with returns so I've made this my back-up cutting
board for when the family comes over to help prep a meal.

Summary: functional yet vulnerable
Comment: I'm a big OXO fan already. This cutting board has two usable sides - one is flat, the other has a shallow drip channel around the edges. The "grip" feet keep the cutting board in place when you use it. The only drawback is that the surface retains cut marks rather easily, which makes it vulnerable to quick deterioration. The pros outweigh the cons. I would get another one without question.
