Cherry Stone Thermal Neck Wrap

This unique therapy pillow can be heated in the microwave, cooled in the freezer and cleaned in your washer. When heated, it gives off the most wonderful cherry aroma, and when cooled, it doesn't feel cold and clammy like some therapy pillows.
The 100% cotton cherry patterned fabric pouch is filled with 2 lbs. of heat-retaining cherry stones supplied by American orchard growers.
Their restorative properties were first discovered by Swiss distillery workers who would warm little bags of cherry stones (a by-product in the manufacture of Kirsch liqueur) on stove tops then use them as heat pads to treat their aches and pains.
Now you can benefit from this traditional treatment with heat-retaining cherry stones that give out a long lasting penetrating heat and the scent of cherries too.

Comment: I bought this to relieve neck and shoulder tension that builds as I sit in front of my computer all day for work. As every outlet near my computer is occupied, I needed something that did not have to be plugged in. This definately gets very hot in the microwave, in only 3 minutes, and holds the heat for about 15-20min. Stays in place around the neck and I also drop it down between my back and the chair to get some heat on the back muscles. The "cherry aroma" advertised is really more of a sour cherry - not totally unpleasant, but certainly not going to add any aromatherapy componant to this wrap.

Comment: The Cherry stone neck pillow is much better than all the other neck wraps out there I have purchased all the other kinds sold here on Amazon hoping for relief from a sore neck and shoulder, it stays hot longer and the heat is stronger as the weight of the wrap really helps the heat sink into sore neck muscles. Buy this if you are looking for a great quality item, I use it everyday and its great.

Comment: This is much better than the typical neck wraps in that it does NOT have that awful smell to it when heated! That's a plus as well as it seems to retain the heat better. Very durable and washable is a major plus!
