Summary: Nice
Comment: A collection of his Greatest Hits, however I feel a few others could have made it on here like "Superman" and "Drug Ballad", but ah well.
Still a nice CD to have and the guy deserved to have one after his years of strong work. I would have to say though you'll never get the full effect he has without getting an actual album cuz to be honest, some of his hits can't hold a CANDLE to songs like "Who Knew" and "Still Don't Give a F***". Either way, nice to have except nowadays most people already have these songs and can put them on their iPod which defeats the purpose.
Oh and there are 3 new songs. "Shake That" feat Nate Dogg (who ironically is on it more than Eminem), "When I'm Gone", and "Fack". "Shake that" is bomb as hell Em and Nate do they thing, "When I'm Gone" is good, deep...but a bit depressing/emo to really bump a lot, and "Fack" is just....ridiculous, sounds like some bad Encore cut. Also interesting enough they feature a live version of "Stan" with Elton John, nice to have too but really makes no difference because the original is on there too.
Overall, nice if you don't have an iPod, if you do I'd still download "Shake That" on iTunes if you haven't already.

Summary: Just a glimpse
Comment: Its just a look into the career that Eminem has had and obviously there are going to be people that dont like what he's saying that's cool. I happened to enjoy the cd on the whole. Curtain Call has a good mix of hits that Em has had over the years like "The Way I Am", "Stan feat Dido" (one of my favs by him), "Lose Yourself", "Cleanin Out My Closet", "Sing for the Moment and the new cut "When I'm Gone". Its one of the most personal records by him that i've heard in awhile and its pretty deep. I love those from him.
But i also enjoy the songs where he's clowning or just having fun like "My Name Is", "Shake That" w/Nate Dogg (with a sick beat to it) and "Just Lose It". I just enjoy that Eminem is never afraid to say whats up and even though sometimes he goes overboard.."Fack". He still does like he wants to do it and thats no bullcrap or drama. He just delivers the message straight whomever.
Curtain Call is a good purchase for those looking to get some of his songs. But don't want to go buying all his cds.
