Summary: A TISKET FOR THE BASKET
Comment: Makes good coffee, usual problems with glass carafe, but the big problem is the basket mechanism. It gets stuck and the "brew" stays in overtime. This happened virtually right out of the box.
Braun advised us to order a replacement basket, pay the cost, fax them the bill for reimbursement. Seems like a NEEDLESS hassle for the consumer.
When you order online, ya pays ur money and takes ur chances, eh?!

Comment: This is a good, affordable coffee maker. Braun has always been a good product, but this one is slightly off from my expectations. The coffee maker is loud during brewing and it occasionally drips when pouring a cup. For the price, the product is adequate.

Comment: I've had a few Braun coffee makers in the past and they have always been great. Until this one. It's a lemon. It overflows constantly. I tried adjusting the grind and different filters, same result. The burner is too hot. It actually cooks the coffee to the point that it starts crusting on the bottom of the pot. Do Not buy this coffee maker. I'm already looking for a new one and this one is barely a month old.
