Summary: Not worth the time - could have been so much better
Comment: I agree with the poster who says this is an intriguing idea with poor delivery. Too many stories - not enough character development. Some of it is just plain disturbing and uncomfortable. Not enough romance and love. Just kinda yuck. And, if you are curious about this one, but not sure - stay FAR away from the sequel - Enchanted Again. It's horrifying and disgusting, compared to this one.
Both books went to recycle land. I'm embarrassed to even have them in the house.

Comment: She has taken our childhood fairy tales and turned them into erotic stories that are sexy and fun. I read a chapter from time to time to my partner and it keeps her attention.

Comment: There is a fine line between erotica and pornography these days but Nancy Madore takes her place effortless on the side of erotica. The fairy tales in her book lack nothing but the obscene language and poor editing. There is a surprising amount of very graphic and shall we say "kinky" sex included, but it is put in a way that is very dignified. I liked what she did with the stories and how she kept true to them. The ones I recognized anyway. This was good. Nice job.

Comment: Many of the tales contained therein were told, not shown. Some of the stories were better than others, but a couple left me rather disappointed. The stories and ideas had potential, but ultimately fell flat.
What could have helped was to use more fairy tales, such as Puss in Boots, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, and what have you. A couple of the tales weren't really interesting or magical to start with, and didn't excite me. Frankly, I didn't feel that the money I spent on this book was worth it. Half the price would have been better for what I got.
Overall, three out of five for a decent read and effort, but nothing more.
